- How to get
there:
After arriving in Bangkok at Suvannabhumi
airport, there are two ways to get around:
1. Take a
bus to Pattaya and then take a boat to Lan island. This requires approximately
3 hours. It costs around 350 baht or just £7.
2. Take a
taxi to Pattaya and then take a boat to Lan Island. It only takes 2 hours to
get there. However it is more expensive than travelling in the bus.
- Review:
Actually, I am a sea lover. I am always
looking for nice beaches. Yet with my limited budget, I have to seek for the
worthiest choice. I heard from my friend that Lan Island is one of the most
beautiful places for anyone who has limited budget (which includes you students
for sure). So I went and was not disappointed! It was cheaper than any of the
other islands I had been to before. The sea water was very clear. There were a
lot of teenagers and European travelers visiting when I went. Since this place
is located nearby Pattaya, there are many foreigners. Overall, I think the island was a little too
small for me but I would still rate it 4/5 stars.
