Relaxation..in Thailand!

With absolutely clear sea beaches along with a safe and convenient location and affordable prices, Samed Island is one of the most popular islands among international foreigners including Thais as well.
There are many beaches on the island, but the most popular are:

- Prao beach (Ao Prao): Travelers can have a romantic dinner at sunset in the evening here. Some interesting activities include scuba diving and kayaking; these are commonly preferred by visitors here.

- Wongduan beach (Ao Wongduan): There are many bungalows (residential) beside the beach! Travelers can have a late night party with a stream of stars and moonlight reflecting on the sea.

- Tubtim beach (Ao Tubtim): At this beach, several kinds of underwater plants like seaweed, coral reef and sea flowers can be seen here and is a fantastic location to scuba dive.

Facilities such as hospitals, pharmacies, supermarkets, car rental locations and restaurants are provided here. Food sellers will provide for you as if you are a prince!

to get there:

After arriving in Bangkok at Suvannabhumi airport, there are two ways to get around:

1. Take a bus to Rayong and then take a boat to Samed Island. This requires approximately 4.5 hours. It costs around 500 baht or just £10.

2. Take a taxi to Rayong and then take a boat to Samed Island. This requires only 2 hours to get there and is very convenient. However it is more expensive than travelling on the bus; the cost would be tripled! It is still quite cheap for foreigners and even for most Thai students selecting this choice!

- Review:
Finally, I’ve found a place where I can go relax with my partner. The sea is very clear- I can clearly see my toes!! We went scuba diving and sun bathing while we were there and the awesome circus show and fresh seafood made our day! We even had a romantic dinner in the moonlight! Last but not least, it cost me less than I expected. It’s more than impressive and I definitely give it 5/5 stars! I go back every year! Strongly recommended!
